Call for Short Scripts: Micro Projects
Actors and Producers Rose Lane Sanfilippo and Alex Joseph Pires are starting a project series of micro shorts, sketches and scenes to be shot and released on social media.
We're looking for simple scripts, 5 pages and under, any genre.
We welcome fresh voices and short-format storytelling that puts character first.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to make it as a sketch. Maybe you want to make it a micro short. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
Rose Lane Sanfilippo
Rose is a (semi-)recent graduate of the Lee Starsberg Theatre and Film Institute at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Rose sharpened her improv and sketch writing chops at the UCB Theatre in Hell's Kitchen, and when she does drama...hoo boy. How'd she get so damn good at living truthfully under imaginary circumstances, you might ask? Two years of meticulous study with legendary acting coach Anthony Abeson. Biatch.

Alex Joseph Pires
Alex Joseph Pires is a SAG/AFTRA Actor, Voice Over Artist, Producer and Comedian. He has completed the two year advanced acting program with Anthony Abeson.
TV credits include ABC's Station 19 and Netflix's The Punisher. Film credits include Bad Boys 4: Ride or Die, About Fate, starring Emma Roberts as well as Bad Voodoo starring John Fiore and Manny Perez.
Commercial credits include national spots with Geico, Capital One, MLB Network and many more.
Alex also created, wrote and starred in the award winning comedy web series, "P's in a Pod"- Now available on the IFT Network.

Calling all Writers!
Our team is inviting script submissions for a new series of micro shorts, sketches, and scenes created by actors and producers Alex Joseph Pires and Rose Lane Sanfilippo.
This is a creative, non-commercial project series designed for performance and social media release. Selected scripts will be filmed and shared on social media platforms—including right here on the Character Carousel.
Submission Guidelines:
Length: 5 pages or fewer
Genre: Open to all genres
Focus: Strong character work and clear dialogue
Production-Friendly: Simple setups and minimal locations preferred
Additional Info:
Submissions are unpaid
There is no deadline or set timeline
Alex and Rose will select scripts to produce
Completed pieces will be added to the Character Carousel page and shared on social media
